Just a Dream

It was a solar eclips, melting all the glaciered "what ifs."
A kiss that could move mountains.
It was those all too familiar eyes, dimming to a close, as to feel the moment
     only in  her soul.
................................................
Time stutter-stepped, planets gasped, and I SOARED between the stars!
It was 4 seconds of dream, reworking evolution, screaming life's solution and
       sending me back 4000 years
................................................
Sudden whiplas as my heart paused, my eyes squinted, my jaw dropped
      and the walls cried out
Reality had rolled over me without blinking.
................................................
I was in my living room once again.
